This painting shows my favorite doily and pretty little white pitcher which I love. After painting this, I realized I have these two "friends" in many paintings. It's time to go antiqueing to find some new treasures to paint. I love to glaze with many layers of color. The background in this work has six or seven different raw colors layered, which gives it a deep, beautiful glow.
