MICHIGAN ARTISTS PARTICIPATE IN

HOME GALLERY ART SHOW

Debbie Johnson, local watercolor artist, along with several other Michigan artists, is holding her Fifty Annual Home Gallery Show at 5620 Hummer Lake Road in Oxford, Michigan. The event takes place onSeptember 19th and 20th from 9 AM to 6 PM. Artwork displayed in this unique venue includes: watercolor paintings, raku and functional pottery, alpaca fibers and yarns, hand made books and paper arts, glass art jewelry, fiber arts, nature photography, bird houses, garden art and more. Artists will display their unique, handcrafted work inside and outside Debbie’s home. Guests can enjoy refreshments provided by the artists as they shop.

Artists are juried by invitation and are all Michigan based. The quality of the art is very high and most of the work is hard to find in normal shopping venues. Many of the artists will be on-hand throughout the weekend to talk with visitors.

Children can enjoy petting and/or feeding an alpaca, watch demonstrations of weaving on a loom and one-stroke painting. Fun for the whole family.

For a unique shopping experience, this event is something that shouldn’t be missed!
